Please join the IES Detroit Section for an engaging panel discussion examining the process of lighting design, from initial concepts through construction to post-occupancy. From the unique perspectives of an architect, lighting designer, electrical engineer, and manufacturer’s representative, our moderated panel will discuss the ins and outs of architectural lighting design projects, touching on design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and final focus.

Our distinguished panel features the following design professionals:

  • Lindsey Stefaniak is a vice president and electrical engineer at Peter Basso Associates
  • Keith Irtenkauf is an executive director and lighting designer at Illuminating Concepts
  • Laura McRandall is a specifications sales consultant at Gasser Bush Associates
  • John Skok is a principal at Mcintosh Poris Associates Architects

Meeting Location Details: Our event will be held in the Greektown Casino Hotel – Ballroom C (in the hotel, not the casino). The hotel is located at 555 E. Lafayette St, Detroit Michigan. Free parking is available in either the Greektown Casino self-park garage, or the Greektown Casino Valet Parking Garage (tips are your responsibility).
