On Thursday August 16th, join us at the Sycamore Hills Golf Course!
Please arrive by 8:00 am for check-in. The shotgun start is at 9:00 am.
Lunch will be at the turn – Hot Dog & Chips, (3) Beverage tickets on the course
Buffet dinner to follow with 1.5 hour open bar.
Tickets Prices:
$100 per person
$400 per foursome
Golfer Tickets will include:
- 18 hole shotgun start with a cart per foursome
- Bloody Mary Bar starting at 8 a.m.
- Hot Dog, chips, and pop or water at the turn
- 3 drink tickets for use on the course
- Buffet Dinner with 1.5 hour open bar
Prizes include:
- 1st place foursome
- 2nd place foursome
- Longest drive and closest to the pin
- Hole in One prizes at 4 holes.
- A $50,000 Hole In One shoot out for 4 lucky participants (must be present)
- Door prizes

Please join the IES Detroit Section as we celebrate this year’s IES Illumination Award winning projects. The Detroit Section has a proud history of being at the forefront of lighting design, and this year is no different with twenty-two overall submissions. From those submissions nine projects received Merit Awards and two have received Awards of Excellence and were recognized on a national level. Join us as we take a closer look at these projects, and spend time with the designers who put forth the work, and deserved the accolades.
Spouses and significant others are welcome to attend this event.

5:00-5:30pm – Gather and Network
5:30-6:30pm – Dinner (Buffet with 2 Drink Tickets)
6:30-8:30pm – Awards presentation

$10 for Students
$15 for Emerging Professional IES Members
$25 for IES Members and non-member

Our event will be held in the Greektown Casino Hotel – Ballroom C (in the hotel, not the casino).
The hotel is located at 555 E. Lafayette St, Detroit Michigan.
Free parking is available in either the Greektown Casino self-park garage, or the Greektown Casino Valet Parking Garage (tips are your responsibility).
